My name is Leah and I am a practicing dance artist with a keen interest in community activations and accessible arts.
My professional background is in event logistics, which is why I am excited to work in development for Sadler's Wells as my people and operations skills are very transferable. I am interested in how performing arts can reach wider audiences, as contemporary dance in particular is often regarded as something of a niche.
This role especially excites me as no two days are the same in development, and I look forward to applying my knowledge in a proactive, forward thinking team. I also look forward to working with a cohort of like-minded young creatives, and honing the voice of our generation of east londoners with the support of the Good Growth Hub's successful Step programme. I am sure I have a lot to learn over the next year and I look forward to the challenges along the way.
