My name is Jimmy. I’m half Spanish, half English, and currently based in London. My background is in dance. I grew up training in a wide range of styles with the goal of becoming a professional dancer. That experience shaped the way I see performance and introduced me to the possibilities within theatre and performance from many different angles.
Performance making is my fuel. I’m fascinated by how a piece comes together. The decisions, relationships and processes behind the final product that audiences never get to see. I’m also energised by being around other artists, as I love working within a creative environment and being part of the conversations that shape the work.
That is what excites me most about the STEP programme with Sadler’s Wells. An opportunity to learn the industry from the inside, build relationships, and grow alongside others who share the same passion.
