Adeyinka Alake (STV Artworld), is an independent British Nigerian contemporary artist from East London whose practice centres on painting and the exploration of lived experience, memory, imagination and heritage.
Before publicly sharing her work as an artist, Adeyinka studied child nursing and later moved into content creation, producing advertising content for brands including Doritos, Gillette Venus and Activision. She began publicly sharing her artwork in March 2025 and, within her first year, was featured in 100 Emerging Artworks of 2025. Since then, she has exhibited across London, including at The Renaissance Fashion x Art show in Central London and at Westfield Stratford with The Windrush Generation Legacy Association (WGLA).
Alongside her studio practice, Adeyinka engages with creative communities and collaborative projects that bring together different artistic disciplines. Most recently, she worked as a visual arts collaborator on Mother Tongue, an Afrocentric, multi-sensory event bringing together musicians, artists, poets, designers and art lovers in a celebration of culture and creativity.
