“Slop Therapy” is a photography workshop for anyone who wants to take pictures with more intention, curiosity, and connection. In a world where images are losing meaning, this session invites you to slow down and explore what your photos are really saying about a place, a feeling, or even yourself.
This event will be led by Edward Sogunro; a multidisciplinary creative who is versatile in mixed media. Edward is experienced in directing concept based projects from scratch and has a keen eye for composition and layout.
Using a three-step process: React, Find Meaning, and Reflection, we’ll guide you through a series of short creative exercises, group reflections and photo prompts to deepen your relationship with image-making.
Whether you’re wanting to develop your personal storytelling, seeking creative inspiration, or simply a way to look at the world differently, this workshop is for you.
This is not about taking the perfect photo – it’s about seeing more in the ones you take.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll explore:
- How to respond instinctively to the world around you
- How to wait and sit with an image before assigning meaning
- How photos can become meditative, reflective tools
- How to use photography to express stories and emotion
