About Dan Tsu

Dan Tsu is a creative director, facilitator, speaker, programme manager, event producer, and founder of underground movement Lyrix Organix. Dan is perhaps best known as co-founder of Glastonbury Festival's legendary Rum Shack.

A multi-disciplinary facilitator (British Council), Lead Lecturer (BIMM London) & Senior Programme Manager (Roundhouse), Dan leads youth education programmes across music, spoken word, social action, entrepreneurship and event management for the likes of Roundhouse, British Council and Cardboard Citizens. As director of Lyrix Organix, Dan is renowned for boundary-pushing events that explore the intersection of live music, poetry and hip hop, to promote youth and social action. He has worked from Ukraine to Cuba, Ethiopia to Mexico.

In his spare time Dan has been a DJ (and MC) for 20+ years, and is a passionate advocate of underground music and culture. He is also a poet who relishes crafting words, and loves a hike in the Welsh countryside.
